Underfoot Inc., is a family owned and operated corporation with two divisions of service to offer the people of Lexington, Fayette and the surrounding counties.  Our Floor Covering Sales & Installation division has been successfully serving the residential and commercial needs of our community for over 10 years.   Now, with the opening of  our Lawn Maintenance & Landscape division, we have the opportunity to further serve the Lexington area.  As David Walls, owner of Underfoot likes to say “if it’s under your feet, we have you covered”.

David’s vision for Underfoot became a reality in April of 2001 when he stepped out in faith, left his management position and took on the role as owner/installer.   It took several years of dedication and hard work, contracting jobs out of other carpet houses, in order to establish a good name and reputation within the industry and with the public.

Then in 2004, David took Underfoot to the next level by marketing the company’s installation skills and sales directly to the customer and establishing his own client base as well as maintaining relations with a few reputable flooring businesses who offer a wide variety of floor covering products.  Together, even in today’s economy, Underfoot is still able to offer affordable products and quality installations.  Our success, we’re proud to say, is largely due to our customers and the work ethics and standards Underfoot’s reputation is founded on.  “Word of mouth” is more than just a saying to Underfoot.  The recommendations and referrals given from our satisfied customers has and will continue to be our primary source of advertising.   We are thankful and appreciate everyone’s support over the past years.

Our latest news is the opening of our Lawn Maintenance & Landscaping division.  We’re excited and looking forward to offering our customers the same dependable, economical and quality of service our flooring division is known for.  Remember, inside or out……..if it’s under your feet we have you covered!
